Terms of service
Effective September 16, 2026
These terms govern your use of the Maingen website and Maingen Platform, provided by Maingen (we, us, or our). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms. If you use the service for an organization, you must have authority to act on its behalf. A separate written agreement with Maingen controls where it conflicts with these terms.
Your account
You must be at least 18 and legally able to enter into this agreement. Provide accurate account information, protect your sign-in credentials, and use only workspaces and connected systems you are authorized to access. Let us know promptly if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.
Your organization may manage your workspace access and the information within it. Access to some features may require a separate agreement or administrator approval. Any fees, billing arrangements, and paid-service commitments will be stated in the applicable order or agreement.
Using the service
You may use the service for lawful business purposes within your authorized access. You must have the necessary rights and permissions for the information you upload and the systems you connect, including information about employees, customers, and other people.
- Do not access another person's account or data without permission, bypass access controls, or interfere with the service.
- Do not upload malware or use the service to violate the law, infringe intellectual property, or invade someone's privacy.
- Do not misrepresent your identity or your authority to act for an organization.
Your content and our software
You retain your rights in content you submit. You give Maingen permission to host, process, reproduce, and transmit that content as needed to provide the service to you, including through service providers and integrations you use. This permission is subject to our privacy policy and any separate agreement with your organization.
You also permit Maingen to use generalized insights derived from customer workflows to develop, improve, and commercially license AI training environments, evaluation tasks, benchmarks, and related products. These materials must not reasonably identify any individual or customer, reproduce customer source documents, or disclose confidential information. This permission does not authorize the sale or licensing of your uploaded files or identifiable customer data, and excludes Google sign-in information. A separate written agreement with your organization takes precedence.
Maingen and its licensors retain their rights in the service, software, and branding. These terms grant you permission to use the service; they do not transfer ownership of it. Rights in custom deliverables, training materials, or other commissioned work are governed by the relevant written agreement.
AI outputs and operational decisions
AI-generated responses, summaries, recommendations, and training assessments may be incomplete or wrong. Review them before relying on them, sharing them, or using them to make decisions. You are responsible for decisions and actions taken using the service.
Training exercises and simulations do not certify a person to perform a task. Follow applicable workplace procedures and obtain review from qualified personnel for safety, engineering, compliance, and equipment decisions. Do not rely on the service as an emergency response system or as the sole control for safety-critical work.
Third-party services
Google sign-in and other integrations depend on third-party services, which have their own terms and availability. You are responsible for complying with those terms when connecting or using those services. We cannot guarantee that a third-party service or integration will remain available.
Availability and suspension
We may change or discontinue features as the service develops. Preview and experimental features may contain errors. Unless a separate agreement says otherwise, we do not promise uninterrupted availability or that any particular feature will remain available.
We may restrict or suspend access when reasonably necessary to address a security risk, comply with law, or respond to a material breach of these terms. Where practical, we will provide notice and an opportunity to resolve the issue. You may stop using the service at any time and contact us about account closure or data export.
Disclaimers and responsibility
To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided "as is" and "as available," without implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. Express commitments in a separate written agreement remain in effect.
To the extent permitted by law, Maingen is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from use of the service, including lost profits or business interruption. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or rights that applicable law does not allow us to exclude, or overrides liability provisions in a separate written agreement.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms and will show the new effective date on this page. We will provide notice of material changes before they take effect where required by law. If you do not agree to updated terms, stop using the service.
